A person whose main duties are to chair the meetings of a UEFA committee, to prepare meetings with the administrator and to approve the action list, and who exercises the casting vote in the event of a tie.
If the chairman of a UEFA committee cannot assume his tasks, he is replaced by the deputy chairman or, if necessary, by the highest-ranked available vice-chairman.
